Jonn Joseph passed away Sunday, March 21/05. Jonn was a member of the Onondaga Clearsky nation, Turtle clan from Six Nations. He was also the son of Six Nations Writers member, RéJane LaForme.

Writing wasn't a regular hobby for Jonn. He wrote when he got the urge. He was a rebel in school so his wanting to write came from reading. That action (reading) got him into trouble in school. He wrote since grade nine when his very first poem caused controversy in the teacher's lounge. Jonn says, "I will never stop writing!"
